NCHICA ANNUAL PRE-CONFERENCE PROGRAM - September 7, 2008
NCHICA is pleased to include the Health IT Certification, LLC's training and certification program for Electronic Health Records (EHR), Health Information Exchange (HIE) and Health Information Technology (HIT). These programs prepare individuals in the health care industry to understand and demonstrate their competency in planning, selecting, and implementing health information technology (CPHIT); planning, selecting, and implementing a health information exchange (CPHIE); and achieving value from an electronic health record (CPEHR).
Each program is ten courses in length. The four courses that are common to both programs are being offered on September 7, 2008. Individuals can elect to take just these four courses as a seminar that addresses key planning elements for HIT, HIE and EHR, or to complete an entire curriculum by taking these four courses in-person and the six remaining courses for EHR, HIE or HIT online. The certification exams for CPEHR, CPHIE and CPHIT are also offered online. Special pricing arrangements are available for the remaining online curriculum for those registered for this one day in-person program.
