Professional training and certification gives you or your staff the confidence to create meaningful solutions. Health IT Certification, LLC, offers accessible, innovative, and cost-effective training and certification options:

• Individuals may attend the training program in a seminar setting, or via the Internet to master the EHR, HIE, and/or HIT body of knowledge. Individuals choosing to take either of the certification examinations are demonstrating their interest in achieving a mark of distinction by mastering an important set of knowledge and skills. At this time, the HIT curriculum is only available online or in in-house seminars.
• Groups may wish to attend courses in a seminar setting, have the training program brought to their organization, or sign-up for online training - at a special group rate. Any or all of the members of the group may choose to take the certification examinations.
• Individuals or groups may also choose to take individual courses from the training program online.

On-site training program attendees receive a comprehensive notebook of training materials and suggestions for tools to assess your healthcare organization's readiness for EHR/HIE/HIT, create a request for proposal and assess responses, evaluate work flow and processes, plan a successful EHR/HIE/HIT project implementation, and manage ongoing maintenance of EHR/HIE/HIT systems. Online attendees are provided access to these same materials. All attendees receive certificates of attendance; continuing education credit is available.
