Health IT Certification announces Version 5.0 of its curricula and certification exams reflecting HL7's 2007 adopted standard for EHRs, recent changes in certification criteria for CCHIT and HITSP, and other environmental updates.

The new version 5.0 CPEHR and CPHIT curricula and certification exams will be posted online on April 16, 2007. The new version 5.0 CPEHR and CPHIT curricula and certification exams will be offered onsite for the first time at the April 23 - 25, 2007 Chicago program.

Registrants currently enrolled in these programs will be offered an opportunity to switch to the new curricula and exam, or complete their present enrollment in the old curricula and certification exams. If registrants opt to remain in the old curricula and certification exams, they must complete their studies and certification exams within three months of the transition date.
